About Material Designer
A materials engineer by training, a student by profession, and a designer by passion.
I'm Christopher Hendrix, and I'm a student at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. I use my design talents to bring inspiration into my not-so-separate worlds of science and the web.
- I design with Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, InDesign
- I craft accessible and semantically meaningful XHTML and HTML5
- I beautify with CSS and the latest CSS3
- I construct interactive experiences with Javascript and jQuery
- I make it dynamic with PHP and MySQL and fluid with AJAX
- I provide updateability with a Content Management System such as Wordpress
